What is this cosmos?

Why are we here?

Looking at the stars

I cannot help but wonder

 

I look at the milky way

The atoms of my body vibrate

Where I know each of them

Resonate

 

They had their own journey

Though the heat of Suns

The violence

Of crashing planets

These are the forces

That live in my body

 

And so when I meet you

I can sometimes recognise

The same vibration

 

Have any of our atoms

Shared the same journey?

Does your soul

Share any similarities?

 

When I look at your eyes

I see

back holes

They suck me in

Into singularity
